• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. BSN preferred.

• Current Washington State Registered Nurse license required.

• Current CPR/BLS required.

• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.

• Certification through the International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE) as a CCDS is required, but can be attained within the first 2years of hire date. 

• Minimum of three (3) years of recent clinical experience in an ambulatory Device Clinic or Electrophysiology (EP) Clinic setting or inpatient experience in Cardiology or EP Lab. 

• Enjoy working in a fast paced patient focused environment.

• Excellent interpersonal/people skills.

• Strong organizational/multi-tasking skills.

Device Clinic Specialist Qualifications

• Current Health Care Provider CPR certification required. 

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.  Completion of vocational ECG program preferred.

• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.

• Evidence of completion of a Washington State DOH approved 7 hour HIV/Aids Training course required prior to first patient contact.

• Certified as a Cardiovascular Cardiographic Technician (CCT) or Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician (CRAT) certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International also required on or before the 150th day of employment.  Must apply to take the exam on or before 30 days of employment.

• Graduation from an accredited Cardiac Technician program is a bonus. 

• Require a minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience as an ECG Technician, Device Clinic Tech or in an ambulatory Device Clinic or Electrophysiology (EP) Clinic setting or inpatient experience in Cardiology or EP Lab.
