Materials Tech / Stock Room: This role is responsible for the workflow processes involved in the receiving, distribution, and storage of Frozen & Refrigerated Food items, Paper goods, and Minor equipment for the Dining Services department. He/she is also responsible for distributing to the proper storage areas anywhere from 2-10 pallets of supplies (depending on the day) - including proper adherence to product rotation practices (FIFO), effective & safe use of a pallet-jack, constant use of push carts, and maintaining the cleanliness of walk-in coolers and dry storage areas.

Materials Technician: This role is responsible for the workflow processes involved in the storage and distribution of general, medical, and surgical supplies and equipment, including the stocking, counting, and distributing of supplies, and recording the movement of supplies in and out of inventories using the materials management information system (MMIS).
