Pay range:
$97,302.00 - $155,688.00Overlake Hospital Medical Center & Clinics has an outstanding opportunity for a Business Manager for Perioperative Services.
In this high profile role, you will provide support to Perioperative Services leadership relative to the financial and operational expense aspects of Surgery and Special Procedures. You will oversee administrative and data support to analyze data, spreadsheets, and reports to identify trends; makes recommendations to maximize operational and quality efficiencies and effectiveness; and focuses on improving the financial performance of the service line. Works closely with the managers relative to their budgets, capital purchases, purchased services, and service and maintenance agreements; and coordinates activities with the Supply Chain, Accounting, and Finance. Oversees the patient charge coordinator and ensures revenue is captured, and timely transmission of charge and supply data across systems. Communicates with Perioperative Director over supply utilization trends and cost saving initiatives. Provides relevant feedback regarding financial performance to service line leadership. Coordinates physician relationships beginning with onboarding coordination for Perioperative Services and acts as a liaison with surgeon practice leadership to ensure a collaborative business relationship. Tracks and reports Block Utilization in procedural areas and works with Perioperative Leadership and SSEC to enforce appropriate utilization, strategy, and forecasting. Utilizes CPI concepts and works as a resource for CPI efforts on projects and initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years experience in medical/financial services or related field required.
- Minimum of 1 year of previous healthcare management/leadership experience preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree required (healthcare related field preferred) or Master's Degree in Business Administration preferred.
- Knowledge of and comfort with healthcare statistical and quality tools required.
- Electronic medical record (EMR), materials management information system, and financial information systems experience preferred. Expert proficiency of Excel, and proficiency for Microsoft office tools required.
