Pay range:

$21.79 - $32.69

Overlake Medical Center has an outstanding opportunity for a Clinical Lab Assistant to work per diem. The Clinical Lab Assistant is responsible for specimen collection (venipuncture/fingerstick) and preparation, and other duties as assigned that are consistent with skills and training to include but are not limited to:

Phlebotomy
Specimen Processing
Point of Care Testing

Shift: Per Diem

Qualifications:

Clinical Lab Assistant

  • License through Washington State Department of Health - Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification (PC).

  • Technical training /certification in phlebotomy. 
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Six months hospital experience preferred.
  • Experience with phlebotomy on neonatal, pediatric, geriatric, adult, trauma and critical patients also preferred.
  • At least two (2) years of phlebotomy experience preferred.
  • Customer Service experience preferred.
