Salary$79,165.00 - $118,747.00

The Contract Analyst reviews, analyzes, drafts and negotiates routine contracts.  Also responsible for managing and maintaining contracts in the contract database and working with ERP team to optimize use of Workday Strategic Sourcing (WSS) as the contract management system.  The Contract Analyst may assist with more complex, non-routine contracts that require development of specialized contract vehicles and techniques to accomplish business goals and objectives.  May also work on special projects, due diligence, and process development as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.  Juris Doctorate preferred.
  • Contract Management certification is preferred.  Paralegal certification is also preferred.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience developing, implementing, operating or maintaining analytics for contract processes and/or business support required.  Healthcare experience is preferred.  Experience with Workday Strategic Sourcing (WSS) is highly desired.  At the discretion of Overlake, Juris Doctorate may be substituted for experience requirement.
  • Excellent negotiation skills are required.  Advanced skills with Microsoft Office also required.  Knowledge of and an understanding of the business case and an appreciation of financial/analytical issues and profit and loss implications. Skill in interpersonal communications to interact appropriately with individuals at all levels of the organization.  Ability to perform in complex cross-functional business environment.  Ability to draft moderate to complex, non-routine contractual instruments.  Ability to analyze complex information, formulate strategies, communicate solutions and plans to others, and monitor progress.  Strong organizational skills.  Knowledge of health care industry, regulatory, compliance and legal requirements are strongly preferred.
