Pay range:

$71,906.00 - $107,869.00

The Epic Systems Analyst is responsible for design, build, testing, validation, and ongoing support of clinical and/or revenue cycle and access applications. The Epic System Analyst must be knowledgeable regarding business processing needs involved in hospital and clinic operations. Each analyst must be able to:

  • identify and resolve systems issues in coordination with other team members across all other Epic applications;
  • work closely with Operational counterparts to ensure consistent business processing methods;
  • provide expert and creative solutions to end-user requirements and problems;
  • perform in-depth analyses of workflows, data collection, interface integration needs, reporting requirements;
  • take the initiative to respond, research and resolve operational inquiries pertaining to EMR applications. 
  • participate in driving operational change within the organization. 

The Epic System Analysts is responsible for obtaining the appropriate Epic certification(s) and maintaining an in-depth knowledge of the software functionality and acquiring knowledge of the clinical or revenue cycle/access workflows to be implemented and supported within the system.

Qualifications

Epic Systems Analyst I

  • Associate’s degree required.  Equivalent related experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Must obtain up-to-date Epic certification in designated application within 6 weeks of last on-site Epic class.
  • Two years related functional experience required. Previous clinical or business role in an acute care hospital or ambulatory clinic preferred. Previous experience with Epic build, testing, training or go-live support desired.

Epic Systems Analyst II

  • Bachelor’s degree required.  Equivalent related healthcare experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Must obtain up-to-date Epic certification in designated application within 6 weeks of last on-site Epic class.
  • Minimum of two years Epic analyst experience, or minimum of four years analyst experience in non-Epic EMR.

Senior Epic Systems Analyst

  • Bachelor's degree required. Equivalent related healthcare experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Minimum of four years Epic analyst experience required.

Epic Nurse Systems Analyst

  • Graduate of an accredited school of registered nursing required, BSN preferred.
  • Current Washington State Registered Nurse License required.  Must obtain up-to-date Epic certification in designated application within 6 weeks of last on-site Epic class
  • Two years experience as a nurse required.  Previous experience in an acute care hospital or ambulatory clinic preferred.  Previous experiences with Epic build, testing, training and go-live support desired.
