Hourly$17.64 - $26.46

The Patient Router plays a key role in ensuring a smooth and positive patient experience. This position is responsible for greeting patients, preparing them for their visits, and rooming patients in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner while supporting clinical staff and maintaining clinic workflow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival to the clinic
  • Escort and room patients for their scheduled visits in a timely manner
  • Verify patient information, including demographics and visit details
  • Obtain and document vital signs as required
  • Prepare exam rooms before and after patient visits, ensuring cleanliness and proper stocking of supplies
  • Communicate effectively with providers and clinical staff regarding patient flow and readiness
  • Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
  • Assist with general clinic operations as needed to support patient care and efficiency

Full-time/40 hours per week

Monday - Friday / 830am to 5pm

8 hour day shift

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Six months to one-year prior experience in a health care setting highly desired.

  • CNA experience highly desired.

  • Knowledge of techniques of quality customer service.  Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with others of varying background.  Ability to offer empathy and support to individuals who may be emotionally unsettled.  Knowledge of or the ability to rapidly learn basic medical terminology.  Basic computer skills.
