Overlake Medical Center & Clinics is seeking a highly skilled, experienced, dynamic, Registered Nurse with an outstanding depth of knowledge in Neonatal Intensive Care to join our team and drive our ongoing commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities to include:

  • Support onboarding and transition in practice programs for NICU environments.
  • Develop and deliver education and training.
  • Support implementation and process improvement.
  • Contribute to policies and nursing education at the core of patient care.
  • Help staff realize their career goals through professional development and clinical excellence.
  • Strategize for the future of nursing in our ever-changing health care environment.
  • Engage in collaborative partnerships within the organization and community to achieve goals.
  • Be part of a team of highly experienced nursing educators who do great things everyday.

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Nursing (MN,MSN) or Master's of Education (M.Ed) required.
  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington. (May be a multi-State license from a Compact state or a Washington license.)
  • Health Care Provider CPR Certification and NRP certification.
  • Certification in Nursing professional development and/or neonatal nursing preferred.
  • Five (5) years nursing experience in acute healthcare setting required, with at least two (2) years in NICU.
  • Two (2) years of experience in education preferred.
  • Experience in adult education, teaching, program planning, development, coordination and evaluation process highly desired.
  • Experience in quality improvement efforts, facilitation and group process knowledge and skills preferred.
