Overlake Medical Center and Clinics has a current opening for a full time Quality Improvement Consultant, to join our collegial, collaborative and supportive team of dynamic individuals.  


The Quality Improvement Consultant will be responsible for performing a variety of duties to support the Quality Program. This position coordinates the daily processes involved in the collection and analysis of quality outcomes, meets required outcomes reporting and implements quality improvement activities in collaboration with Leadership and Quality Committees. Analyzes data, prepares reports, and presents findings. Manage, track and evaluate performance measures, identify data trends, make recommendations for clinical quality improvement initiatives when appropriate on required measures such as but not limited to: Core Measures, Clinical Outcomes Assessment Program (COAP), PQRS (Adult HEDIS/NCQA measures), Meaningful Use Measures, and Specialty specific registry measures. 

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required. BSN/RN preferred  

  • Professional Licensure/Certification/Registration: Must maintain current licensure as appropriate to profession.  

  • Experience: Minimum of two years ambulatory or acute care hospital experience as a clinician, clinical data abstractor or quality analysis/performance improvement required.  

  • Special Training/Skills: Familiar with the operations of the healthcare industry and healthcare delivery systems.  Demonstrated computer skills in excel, power point and word processing preferred. Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. Detail oriented, ability to work independently, prioritize work and meet deadlines. Background in Quality Improvement principles and techniques preferred. Knowledge of statistical and data analysis preferred.
