Hourly$49.00 - $87.12Exceptional nurses work at Overlake. You could be one of them.
Overlake Medical Center has opportunities for nurses looking to transition into a new specialty of practice.
Nurses with greater than one year of experience are eligible. The transition program is based on best practices and evidence-based education.
Your program will include:
A blend of online learning and instructor led courses
1:1 clinical precepting by an experienced RN
Focused sessions with an Education specialist to enhance learning and clinical reasoning in your new area of practice
During the program, you will work a .9 FTE (72 hours per biweekly pay period). After completing the precepted portion of the program your FTE and shift will be based on available positions, with a high probability of .9 FTE, Night shift. Commitment of one (1) year in unit at assigned FTE & shift.
Cohort participation for transitional RN varies per specialty

Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing
Current WA State RN License or Multistate RN License required prior to start.
Healthcare provider BLS/CPR certifications.
1+ years RN experience
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Note - RNs hired into units that require a competency in cardiac rhythm interpretation will be required to take a rhythm assessment in their first week. This will include standard cardiac rhythms, dysrhythmias and paced rhythms.
